Coach Training - Under-6 to Under-10 - FREE
From: Simon Church, coaching coordinator Alameda-Contra Costa Youth Soccer League
To: Albany-Berkeley Soccer Club coaches, assistant coaches
Starting Monday 31st March, from 7.15-8.15 pm, there will be free coaching clinics at James Kenney Park. The clinics will continue to run on Mondays through April. Just show up. No registration required.
Robert Sackey will be leading these clinics. He will be working with coaches on how to teach the basics of soccer to kids, including dribbling, shooting, passing, ball control etc.
All coaches in the Under-6 to Under-10 age groups are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity for coaches of all levels and skills to learn from a very experienced coach.
Requirements: Bring a soccer ball
Also recommended: cleats/trainers, shin guards if you have them, 2 cones, pen and paper, water
