The start and end dates of each season are established by the league to which we belong, the Alameda-Contra Costa Youth Soccer League.
The Spring 2008 season
First game: Saturday, March 29, 2008
First practice: 1 or 2 or 3 weeks in advance of the first game date, given field availabilities and coach availabilities. Check with your coach for exact practice schedule.
Exceptions: Under-5's and Under-6's do not have a weekday practice. The Under-6's first practice is on the first scheduled game day, before the game. The Under-5's do not have any practice, but participate as a group in a Saturdays-only program led by an instructor starting on Saturday April 5 and ending on Saturday May 10, with Saturday May 17 as a possible make-up date for rain-outs.
No game is scheduled on May 24, 2008 on Memorial Day weekend.
Final game: Saturday, May 31, 2008
The Summer 2008 Season for Under-5's only
First session: Saturday July 12, 2008
Final session: Saturday August 2, 2008
The Fall 2008 Season

First game: Saturday September 6, 2008
Final game: Saturday November 8, 2008
Exception: Under-5 program starts on Sept 13, ends on Nov 1.
Under-5 rain-out make-up date: Saturday Nov 8.
Season-end Jamboree: In FALL SEASON ONLY for RECREATIONAL teams playing Under-8 through Under-14 to be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 15/16, 2008. Teams notify the club mid-season of intent to participate in this optional tournament-style event.
