Recreational soccer teams - The Most Important Component of ABSC
More than 80% of all ABSC soccer players play on Division IV or "recreational" teams. These teams are open to players of all skill levels, including beginners, and are geared toward skill development, learning the game of soccer, sportsmanship and FUN. There are no tryouts. Games are all within the Oakland to San Pablo area. Practices are one or two days per week and games are on Saturdays. We also have a Sunday program, and those teams will have one or two practices during the week, and games on Sundays only. Players may request the Sunday program by writing SUNDAY in the team request field during sign-ups. The Under-5's and Under-6's have a Saturdays-only program.
Fall season runs from mid-August through November, and Spring season runs from mid-March through late May.
