Free of charge to ABSC coaches, assistant coaches & other team officials.
This course is developed to provide tools to help coaches run smooth practices where youth are engaged, having fun, and reaching their full potential. During this two-hour training, participants will review their program structures and establish preventative measures that can be taken now to diminish future issues from occurring. With the knowledge that issues do inevitably arise, participants will also be introduced to a disciplinary model, tools and strategies to approach these difficult situations. This training is great for new and veteran coaches as well as program leaders looking for tools to pass on to their staff.
Most time will be in the classroom, so bring pen and paper, wear comfortable clothes/shoes as we will be doing a 15-minute drill on the field.
