Soccer at Gabe Catalfo Fields

Sunday after 1 for co-ed
The Gabe Catalfo Fields are located at 5th and Harrison St in Berkeley (a block north of Gilman, next to the skateboard park). Newcomers can talk with people there about understanding the system.

Albany Co-ed Soccer League
October 05, 2004 -- Information from an ABSC coach who plays in the Albany co-ed soccer league (?contact info?): There are 2 seasons (spring and fall) and the league is usually looking to expand at the end of the season. Games are on Sundays (currently at Catalfo fields). When the season is not in play, there is pick-up soccer at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings at El Cerrito High School.
There is also pick-up soccer at the Maxwell field (formerly Kleeburger) on the UC Berkeley campus on Saturdays in the afternoon (around 3 o'clock I think).
Over-35 Women's Soccer League
July 28, 2005 -- An announcement from Linda McPheron, Albany-Berkeley Soccer Club coach: We are looking for women interested in playing in a new over-35 women's soccer league for the Fall. Games are on Sundays at 9 or 11; half our games are in the East Bay, and half are in San Francisco. The league has a nice mix of talented players, new players and those who have returned to the game after a long absence! The league currently has 6 teams and needs more players to fill out these teams.

Middle-aged soccer A group of us are going to start playing on Wednesday afternoons around 5:00. Please email cambour@hotmail.com to join. Open to anyone with a pulse and is fee-free. We're mostly beginners and intermediates, fat, middle-aged, sweatshirts for goalposts, you get the picture!
